Cena & Shay Shariatzadeh Are Red-Carpet Official: ‘I’m Here with Somebody Special’

WWE superstar turned actor John Cena appeared at the NYC premiere of his new movie “Playing with Fire” with his new girlfriend, Shay Shariatzadeh. It was their first red carpet together, making it a doubly special night!
Cena was with “Extra’s” Renee Bargh, gushing of Shay, who he met in Vancouver while filming the movie, “It’s a wonderful night to be at the movies. I’m here with somebody special.”
Renee told John his girlfriend is beautiful and asked if they’d have any time to hang out in NYC or if he would have to rush off to the next thing. “No, no,” John said, “the expectation is to actually spend some time together.”
In “Playing with Fire,” John stars as a firefighter who rescues three kids and becomes their babysitter. “I love their energy,” he said of the young actors. As for kids of his own, he said that “it’s not a decision you can make and regret… So until I feel I am in the position to make a proper commitment… I wouldn’t want to shortchange a child.”

He also said he has “a lot of great opportunities at the moment,” which include working on “Fast & Furious 9” and the upcoming “The Suicide Squad,” a stand-alone sequel to 2016’s “Suicide Squad.” He told Renee of such star-packed opportunities, “Being surrounded by a 20-year legacy franchise group that lives their brand and being the new kid in school is an uncomfortable situation, but I’m surrounded by people that are better than me and help me learn. ‘The Suicide Squad’ is no different. [Director] James [Gunn]is amazing, the list of the cast is a mile long, and I’m learning so much.”
John also clarified whether he will retire from the WWE, saying, “I’ll never speak negative of the company. I love the company, I love its performers, I love its managers. My position is simply mentor or coach or even a global ambassador… You don’t ever retire from family, and that’s my family.”
As for Halloween, he teased, “I will be on the set of ‘The Suicide Squad,’ so hell, yes, I am dressing up for Halloween, but I can’t tell you anything about the costumes.”
“Playing with Fire” is in theaters November 8.

Steve Austin on CM Punk’s return: “It’s a breath of fresh air”

Steve Austin was on the State of Combat podcast this week and spoke about CM Punk’s return (sort of) to wrestling as an analyst on WWE Backstage. Highlights are below.
“I don’t know if it leads to anything more, I guess speculation, to be determined, we’ll find out. Just the fact that he’s returned to be doing business with WWE, I love, because I don’t know, they split up on bad terms, and now they’re back in business together. CM Punk was a lights out pro-wrestler, great promos, great work, great talent, so to have him back in the fold, obviously, I guess they ironed out whatever they need to iron out, and both sides are happy, so it’s great to have CM Punk back in the pro-wrestling/sports entertainment business. It’s a breath of fresh air because the guy brings a great perspective, great insight, and great opinion on all things sports entertainment.”Click Here: new zealand warriors rugby store

Cody Rhodes Says He’s Going to Court

In a tweet that has since been deleted, AEW EVP and wrestler Cody Rhodes mentioned that he’d be “going to court soon.” The full tweet had a Welcome to Pettyville” and read “Sounds like I’ll be going to court soon, time to go suit shopping.” It’s unclear what Cody was referring to.
Additionally, a fan released a video clip from last night’s AEW Dynamite. In the video clip, Rhodes acknowledged a “Suck It Vince” sign.” After the fans started chanting “Suck It Vince,” Cody then said in response, “I really cannot say anything. I think the sign says it all.” You can view that footage below.
As noted, AEW announced that it’s going to have a Bash at the Beach edition of Dynamite in January 2020. Previously, WWE owned the Bash at the Beach name and trademark. However, Cody Rhodes reportedly filed for the trademark earlier this year.Click Here: Virgil van Dijk Jersey Sale

Change in plans for Lilian Garcia in New York

View this post on Instagram

Soooo today did NOT go the way I envisioned it. I was booked by the @nyjets to sing the National Anthem and it was going to be my 14th time! It so happens I was given @samdarnold #14 jersey so I was super excited to wear it, HOWEVER life had another plan… . When I landed in NY on Friday, I started noticing that my voice was getting raspy. I was feeling fine so I didn’t understand where it was coming from. To be proactive, I rested all evening but I woke up Saturday to the situation being worse. I quickly called my doctor, got a prescription & also alerted the Jets. They couldn’t have been more understanding and let me know that in case I didn’t get my voice back in time, they had a backup plan. In my mind, I was still fighting hard to try and come back. . For the next few hours, I went through a roller coaster of emotions where I was disappointed, sad, anxious, and felt like I was letting everyone down. However, as the day progressed and I spoke to my amazing support system, I started seeing there was a bigger lesson here. I recalled the quote, “10% is what happens to us but 90% is how we react to it” so I listened to my intuition and heard it say that “singing doesn’t define me”. See,without realizing, for years I’ve been smothering my singing career feeling like if I didn’t sing that meant I was nothing. But today I realized that’s not true. If I get to sing or I don’t get to sing doesn’t make me! I will still be fine and able to enjoy a beautiful day. . So with the help of my husband & amazing friends, I changed my perception & not only enjoyed the day but was also able to be there for @ollylandis who was thrown in last minute as my replacement! (Oh I know the nerves that come with that! 😬) . Liv, you did an outstanding job and I really appreciate you stepping in for me! 🙌🏼 . A special thank you to these amazing humans: @christopherjozeph @steph.purpura @james.powerful.u @pattimaloney @laylaxemily Monte & Joe who support me unconditionally. And HUGE thank you to the NY Jets for your nonstop love! Yay we won today too! 🙌🏼😄 . Can’t end this without thanking all of you who give me the strength to be myself no matter the situation! ❤️

Samoa Joe to Stay on RAW Commentary Team

Samoa Joe will be a voice of Raw for the immediate future, continuing in the role he filled this week. Ryan Satin revealed on WWE Backstage that Joe, who appeared on Raw’s commentary team this week, will continue in that role as his thumb injury heals and Dio Maddin, who he replaced, will be returning to the Performance Center to train as an in-ring talent.
Maddin has been off TV since being attacked by Brock Lesnar in October. Joe, meanwhile, has been away from the ring due to his injury. There’s no word when he’ll be back in the ring.Click Here: New Zealand Cricket Jerseys
