Titus O’Neil has commented following the New Day’s joint statement regarding Hulk Hogan being reinstated into the WWE Hall Of Fame.

There has been several rumors surfacing online about how Titus has felt regarding Hulk Hogan’s Hall Of Fame return but he has now made his first official comments.

Titus shared the joint New Day statement and claimed he is in full agreement and support of everything said in that statement. He added that his own additional response will follow soon as there have been many erroneous reports regarding his views to the situation.

Tye Dillinger On Smackdon Loss

Tye Dillinger was defeated in convincing fashion last night on SmackDown Live by Samoa Joe and the Perfect 10 has commented on that loss online that he honestly thought he had him.

I asked him who has impressed him most in #WWE since returning, he calls Roman phenomenal, but goes on to say Elias, Braun Strowman & Finn Balor are some of his favourites, but he thinks Apollo Crews is underrated.

F1 forced to scrap Japanese GP following Covid spike

Formula 1 confirmed on Wednesday the cancellation – for the second year in succession – of the Japanese Grand Prix in Suzuka due to the country’s spike in Covid-19 cases.

The 17th round of the 2021 Formula 1 World Championship was scheduled for October 10 as the third race in a Russia-Turkey-Japan triple-header.

“Following ongoing discussions with the promoter and authorities in Japan the decision has been taken by the Japanese government to cancel the race this season due to ongoing complexities of the pandemic in the country,” said Formula One Management in a statement.

“Formula 1 is now working on the details of the revised calendar and will announce the final details in the coming weeks.

“Formula 1 has proven this year, and in 2020, that we can adapt and find solutions to the ongoing uncertainties and is excited by the level of interest from locations to host Formula 1 events this year and beyond.”

To compensate for Japan’s loss, Austin has been identified as a possible venue where a second race could be added to F1’s agenda, while a second round of racing in Bahrain is also rumored to be on the table.

Furthermore, Qatar has reportedly offered to host an inaugural Grand Prix at its Losail International Circuit in Doha, a regular MotoGP venue.

More rejiggling of F1’s calendar might be in the works as Turkey, Mexico and Brazil are deemed to still be at risk of cancellation.

Despite Brazil’s poor sanitary situation, organisers of the Sao Paulo Grand Prix said on Monday that the green light was still on for their November race, although they requested a date change, asking for the event to be pushed back by a week in order to have it sit on the country’s national holiday weekend.

However, all three countries currently remain on UK’s travel red list, meaning that all F1 personnel will need to quarantine for 10-days in a government hotel in the UK upon their return from either Turkey, Mexico or Brazil, a measure that inevitably complicates logistics for teams and paddock members based in Britain.

With teams and personnel initially scheduled to head from Istanbul straight to Suzuka, the 10-day residency in Japan would have safely put everyone out of the UK’s quarantine window. But the race’s cancellation brings the red zone restriction back into play.

IMPACT Wrestling star, Eddie Edwards recently spoke with WrestlingInc.com about his issues with Sami Callihan and the upcoming Slammiversary event. Below are some highlights from that interview.

Edwards on the botched baseball spot:

“Obviously getting hit in the face with a bat is not something that you want to happen. The way it worked out with no long-term injuries or anything like that. The way it worked out it got people talking. It got media outlets tuning in and following the story so that’s obviously a good thing.

“That’s something we had to run with. To not run with that would be stupid so I think we made the best of a kinda weird and crazy situation. We made the best of that going forward and I think that momentum has kinda stuck around and we continue going forward with that.”

Is his issue with Sami Callihan over?

“That’s something that will stick with me forever in my career, though my life. The history that we now have that’s not something that kinda fades away. That’s something that’s always there. It’s always going to be in the back of my mind.

“It should be in the fans’ minds. I don’t know many people who have been hit in the face with a baseball bat and their wife stalked and all that. If you ever went through that, that’s not something you forget about. So Sami can say it’s over and this and that, but you know down the road who knows what’s gonna happen.”

Slammiversary:

“Of course I’m keeping my eye on Pentagon and Sami’s hair vs mask match. That’s something I will be paying close attention to if I’m able to, of course.”

The Rock Thanks China For ‘Skyscraper’

As noted, The Rock’s new movie “Skyscraper” had a big opening in China last weekend, which helped boost the movie to the #1 spot worldwide, and Rock issued the following video on Twitter thanking the fans in China and around the world for the movie’s success overseas:

L’humoriste de 64 ans vient d’apprendre que 49 dates de sa tournée d’été ont purement et simplement été annulées suite à sa blague sur “la déchirure” prononcée sur C8 le mois dernier, blague qui tournait autour de la thématique du viol et qui avait défrayé la chronique.

Sur ses réseaux sociaux, le compagnon de Lola Marois n’a pas caché sa tristesse et a publié une vidéo ce 4 mars 2019. “Bonjour les amis, je reste assis car je suis détruit (…) Je devais faire la tournée Var-Matin cet été, 49 dates, c’était tout mon été de travail et je viens d’apprendre il y a 45 minutes là que j’étais viré. Je suis viré par Jean-Marc Pastorino, qui est le PDG de Var-Matin, il a dit ‘Non, on ne peut pas prendre un gars qui raconte sur C8 la blague de la déchirure’. Vous m’avez bien entendu ? C’est la réalité, je suis viré (…) Il me jette comme une merde pour une blague que je raconte à la télé et à la radio depuis 30 ans“, a-t-il lâché, accablé.

Combattif, Jean-Marie Bigard a fait une proposition. “Je fais un appel. Si des maires du Var veulent me recevoir, je viens et je joue pour cinq euros la place, ok ? Rien que pour faire chier Jean-Marc Pastorino et pour faire rire les gens parce que j’étais censé parcourir tout le département du Var cet été. Si vous le voulez, je viendrai. Jean-Marc Pastorino verra que je fais beaucoup plus rire les gens que je les fais pleurer ou que je les offusque. Je vous embrasse tous, j’ai pris un coup sur la tête“, a-t-il lancé.

Pour rappel, face au tollé, C8 avait coupé la scène des rediffusions et des replays de Touche pas à mon poste et le CSA avait recueilli plus de 200 signalements 24 heures après la diffusion.

Following the tragic passing of Brian Christopher at the age of 46 on Sunday, WWE Hall of Famer Jeff Jarrett posted the following blog on Instagram:

I woke up Sunday morning in London with many, many texts of the initial report on Brian. And, over the next few hours I had the time to reflect on all the years that I’ve known Brian; our fathers were business partners for many years and that’s how we initially met. From our first times together in USWA there were ALWAYS two things you could count on him to do—one, he was going to make you laugh no matter what was going on, and two when he stepped in the ring he was going to let his incredible charisma shine thru…his infectious laugh(at times really annoying), his athletic ability, and his knack for making everyone in the match better! For about 3 years I wrestled with or against Brian more than anybody during that time; and, I became a better professional wrestler because of it.

The disease of addiction is real, it’s very dark, and it’s fatal if left untreated.

This Week’s WWE Smackdown Draws Big Viewership Number While ‘Miz & Mrs’ Holds Steady In Week Two

This week’s edition of Miz & Mrs. on the USA Network drew 1.3 million viewers following Smackdown Live, for it’s second ever episode, reports ShowBuzz Daily.

While the 11.6% drop from last week’s series premiere might not look good on paper, it’s important to remember that virtually every television show sees a massive hit in numbers after each series and season premiere, as the debut episodes are seen as “destination television” for casual viewers.

The first season of Walking Dead dropped 12% between its first and second episode on AMC. Big Bang Theory dropped 10% and just wrapped its 11th season. The real tell for Miz & Mrs. long-term popularity (and let’s keep in mind it only has six episodes ordered at this point, with an option to pick up more in the future) will come next week.

In other ratings news, the lead in to “Miz & Mrs”, WWE Smackdown Live, saw a sizeable increase in viewership over last week, taking in an average audience of 2.401 million viewers. This week’s show was up from the previous week’s 2.340 million viewership average. This week’s show ranked #5 in overall cable TV viewership for the night, and #1 in the 18-49 demographic.

This week’s WWE Smackdown featured the return of Jeff Hardy and Zelina Vega’s in-ring debut, which were both announced in advance of the show, and also featured the surprise return of Charlotte Flair.

Daniel Bryan challenged The Miz to a match at SummerSlam, but it seems The Miz isn’t interested. The “Awesome” superstar released a video on Twitter emphatically refusing the challenge, citing his status as the man who carries Tuesday nights.

Les Fab Four sont sur tous les fronts cette semaine ! Après la réunion familiale autour du prince Charles à Buckingham mardi, le prince William et Kate Middleton étaient de nouveau de sortie mercredi 6 mars 2019. Le duc et la duchesse de Cambridge ont cette fois-ci voyagé jusqu’à Blackpool, une ville côtière du Nord-Ouest de l’Angleterre.

C’est sous la pluie que Kate Middleton est apparue mercredi matin, élégante dans son manteau vert Sportmax. Une pièce de créateur qui coûte certes plus de 1000 euros, mais qu’elle a déjà portée à plusieurs reprises en 2015, 2016 et 2017. Cette adepte du recyclage mode a complété son look d’une robe Michael Kors, de bottes à talon Ralph Lauren et de son sac à main Manu Atelier, déjà vu en janvier dernier lors d’un déplacement en Ecosse.

En compagnie du prince William, la Britannique de 37 ans a prévu plusieurs engagements dans la journée : la visite de la Tour de la ville, une visite de la bibliothèque et d’un parc local récemment réhabilité. Le matin même, c’étaient le prince Harry qui se signalait en public lors de l’événement WE Day, à Londres. En apparaissant sur scène au côté de son mari, Meghan Markle a provoqué une véritable salve de cris et d’applaudissements au stade de Wembley. La famille royale 2.0, plus populaire que jamais ?
