Backstage: The Miz, Damien Mizdow & Grumpy Cat
When we return from commercial, The Miz and Damien Mizdow are shown backstage. Miz does a big hype job for a movie, which Sandow of course mimics. Finally, once he’s done, Miz says, “what do you think?” The camera pans over and we see the “Grumpy Cat.” He then introduces stunt grumpy cat, which is a stuffed animal. Miz and Sandow leave, only for Miz to return to the scene and tell the cat he’s sorry for losing his temper. He kisses the cat and walks off.
Adam Rose (with The Bunny) vs. Tyson Kidd (with Natalya)
From there, Adam Rose and The Rosebuds — including The Bunny – party their way down to the ring. During their ring entrance, we head to another commercial break.
We’re back from the break and we see Tyson Kidd — headphones and all — standing on the top rope posing for the crowd. Rose and Kidd are in one-on-one action here on RAW.
The bell rings and here we go. Rose orders The Bunny to stand by his corner. Rose works Kidd over in the corner to start. Kidd is distracted by the Rosebuds. Rose nails a big spinebuster for a 2 count. The Bunny flirts with Natalya and distracts Rose. This sets up Kidd putting the Sharpshooter on Rose. Rose taps out. Kidd wins.
After the match, The Bunny comes in the ring to help Rose up. The Bunny ducks a clothesline and grinds Rose from behind. The Bunny runs out of the ring, goes to the top of the stage and does a dry-hump motion with his body. We head to commercial.
Winner: Tyson Kidd
Bray Wyatt & Dean Ambrose In-Ring Segment
When we return from commercial, Bray Wyatt makes his way down to the ring for a promo segment.
Bray speaks about Dean Ambrose and says he wants Ambrose to see how Wyatt can save them. He tells Ambrose to embrace this and he will make it all go away. We hear Ambrose start talking on the mic and then he appears on the big screen. He tells Wyatt to stop babbling. Ambrose reveals that he’s talking on a taped promo and that he’s really in the audience.
The lights come back on and Ambrose attacks Wyatt from behind. Ambrose unloads and Wyatt manages to escape. Ambrose says he doesn’t need saving and Wyatt just needs to worry about saving himself at Survivor Series. Wyatt is shown at the top of the ramp with a concerned look on his face as Ambrose stares him down from the ring. We head to commercial.
Ryback vs. Cesaro
We return from commercial and “The Big Guy,” Ryback makes his way down to the ring for a match. His opponent for tonight is none other than “The King of Swing,” Cesaro. The bell rings and here we go.
Ryback dominates straight from the word “go.” Out of nowhere, Cesaro hits a big slam for a two count. Ryback turns it around in the corner but Cesaro whips him into the opposite corner. Cesaro with a sleeper hold now. “The King of Swing” throws Ryback out to the floor as we head to a mid-match commercial.
We’re back live on RAW and the action is still in progress. Cesaro hits an impressive multiple German suplex spot, holding onto Ryback and hitting another over-and-over again. Several times during this match, by the way, we see John Cena watching on from backstage. Finally, Ryback hits his finisher and scores the 1-2-3 for the victory in a pretty good match.
Winner: Ryback
