WWE Superstar Sami Zayn took to social media this weekend to write an update to his fans, explaining why his recent hiatus from WWE due to injury has actually been a “gift” to him.
“Double shoulder surgery isn’t fun, but I see the whole experience as a gift,” Zayn wrote via his official Twitter page on Friday. “Time off wrestling gave me perspective, about myself and the world around me.”
Zayn added, “Honest introspection/critical reflection is SO valuable, and it costs nothing. To heal the world, we must heal ourselves.”
