Davey Boy Smith Jr. is set to leave New Japan Pro Wrestling because NJPW officials aren’t allowing him to work for Impact Wrestling.
According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer, NJPW officials are still upset with Impact Wrestling regarding their treatment of current IWGP Heavyweight Champion Kazuchika Okada (during the TNA days).
Below is what Meltzer said:
“Everyone else who was in power when Okada was there is gone, you know, everyone. It’s not even the same company, but they’re still mad at Impact over Okada.
