More Substitutions for WWE Mixed Match Challenge; Brackets & Schedule Released

WWE’s Mixed Match Challenge has reached the tournament stage – or playoffs as WWE is promoting it as – and with it came a few changes. Braun Strowman – sidelined with an elbow injury that requires surgery – is out of the competition and will be replaced by a yet-to-be-named superstar next week who will continue forward as Ember Moon’s teammate (Moon herself as been subbing for injured Alexa Bliss). Last night, it was also announced that Jeff Hardy will be replacing AJ Styles in all subsequent matches alongside Charlotte Flair.

Next week, we will see the first two quarterfinal matches, with Moon and her partner taking on Jinder Mahal & Alicia Fox and Finn Balor & Bayley taking on Bobby Lashley & Mickie James. Moon’s partner will be announced shortly before the match and there is no word on who it could be though I suppose someone like Elias would be a good guess.

Below is a graphic WWE released showing the seedings and brackets. Note, that this was posted before last night’s Smackdown and the empty spot for the #4 Smackdown seed was secured by R-Truth and Carmella. The schedule is as follows: November 27 (Raw quarterfinals), December 4 (Smackdown quarterfinals), December 11 (semifinals) and the December 16 at the TLC PPV, we will see the Raw vs. Smackdown finale.
