Tottenham news: Harry Kane out of protective boot and COULD make Champions League final if Spurs beat Ajax

The Spurs striker is out of his protective boot and has been given the green light to accelerate his rehabilitation from his ankle injury.

According to the Mail, Kane was told he could remove the boot earlier this week and his ankle has responded well to walking without the protective aid.

Work will now commence at Spurs’ Enfield HQ to strengthen his left ankle in the hope he can be fit to make the Champions League final, should Mauricio Pochettino’s side get there, and England’s UEFA Nations League matches in June.

Provided the rehabilitation goes to plan, there is optimism around Spurs that he could make the final showdown in Madrid, while England officials are in regular contact with the north London club about the progress of his injury.
