The Rock/President Update, Angle Selling Gear, Two WrestleManias?

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson had yet another successful film premiere earlier this year with the release of Skyscraper. The Rock has plenty of other film roles and commitments lined up for him at the moment, but the former wrestler still continues to tease that he may run for President of the United States at some point in the future. Johnson has just informed Vanity Fair that he is still considering running, he will not be running for President in the 2020 election. The Rock says that he simply does not have the time or experience to begin putting together a serious campaign by the next election, so it may be still at least few more years until the former WWE Champion possibly ends up in the White House.
Ever since returning to WWE last year, Kurt Angle has mostly served as the General Manager of Monday Night Raw. However, the WWE Hall of Famer has dusted off some of his singlets during his return for the occasional comeback match. Rather than hold on to his ring gear, Angle has just revealed that he will be selling some of his attire, but it will all be for a great cause. Angle is selling his ring gear from Survivor Series 2017 in order to benefit The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Angle is hoping to sell his singlet for $2,000 with the goal of raising money for the charity to conduct blood cancer research and other tests. Earlier this year, fans witnessed two different Royal Rumble pay-per-views with the traditional Royal Rumble event taking place in January before WWE debuted the Greatest Royal Rumble event in Saudi Arabia back in April. Several weeks later, it is being reported that the company could be repeating this once again for WrestleMania. According to Jon Fisher of Barn Burner, WWE is planning to host two WrestleMania events in one year by 2020. The first WrestleMania will continue to be held in late March/early April while another event will be broadcasted in October each year. Areas such as London, Saudi Arabia, and Australia were named as possible locations for the planned WrestleMania show in October.
