Stylight, the European online curated fashion platform, has launched its
inaugural charity auction to raise awareness for Purple Day.
Launched in 2008, Purple Day is held on March 26 and dedicated to raising
awareness for epilepsy. Stylight has invited over 50 fashion individuals,
including stylists, designers and bloggers to donate special items in their
wardrobe for the auction, with all proceeds going to a number of epilepsy
charities, including Epilepsy Action in the UK.
Amongst many of the pre-loved, new and unworn designer items donated are a
mini Moschino leather bucket bag from the CEO of Luisaviaroma, Andrea
Panconesi as well a Dries van Noten dress from Sarah Bailey, editor of Red
Magazine and a purple wallet from the founder of Supertrash, Olcay Gulsen.
Other items in the auction include Chloe ballet flats, a Miu Miu clutch
and as well as a unique Mary Katrantzou jumper.
The online auction started on March 26, at 7 am and runs to April 2, 7 am
at purpleday.stylight.co.uk.
