Ligue 1 club Saint-Étienne’s scouting net has been cast far and wide ahead of the summer transfer window with their prospects of survival in Ligue 1 looking up. As reported by BUT, their talent search has led to the Portuguese second division.
Les Verts are interested in signing 22-year-old Brazilian attacking midfielder Matheus Indio who plays for Trofense in Portugal’s second tier. Nice and Nantes are also looking at signing the player whose contract runs to 2024. Trofense are currently struggling in their division and lie 14th of 18 sides.
