Rhea Ripley is heading to WWE Raw.
In a vignette tonight, it was revealed that Ripley would be a part of the Raw brand going forward, and that she was ‘coming soon’. She hasn’t been seen since the Royal Rumble last month, when Bianca Belair eliminated her last to win the match.
Prior to her appearance in the Royal Rumble, she was a part of the NXT roster. She last appeared on the January 6 edition of NXT, losing to Raquel Gonzalez in a last woman standing match.
Ripley signed with the WWE in 2017, competing in the first round of the Mae Young Classic, losing in the second round to Dakota Kai. The following year, she made it to the semifinals, losing to Io Shirai. She then moved to NXT UK, where she became the first NXT UK Women’s Champion.
She then moved to NXT, where she defeated Shayna Baszler to win the NXT Women’s title on December 18, 2019. She would defend and lose the title on the second night of WrestleMania 36 in 2020, facing Charlotte Flair.
