Chong is out of contract with United at the end of the season and is likely to attract plenty of interest if he does hit the open market.
The 19-year-old has made just four appearances under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer this season and he is said to be growing frustrated with the lack of game time.
Italian publication Corriere dello Sport, via Sport Witness, claim the winger feels he has not been used ‘enough’ and have ‘unsurprisingly started looking around in search of a new adventure’.
That new adventure could well be Juventus as they have already shown great interest in the Dutch youngster.
The newspaper claim talks have been held between the Serie A club and Jonathan Barnett, the head of the player’s agency, Stellar Football.
The move to Juventus is thought to be seen as an attractive prospect for Chong.
