After scoring in Argentina’s 3-0 win over Venezuela last night, Lionel Messi was interviewed about his future, indicating that he would reflect after the World Cup.
Speaking to TyC Sports, the Paris Saint-Germain man insisted that he did not know what the future had in store, but that he was focused on Argentina’s upcoming matches before the tournament in Qatar.
“I don’t know [what the future holds internationally], I really don’t. I’m thinking of what’s coming up, what’s close, which is the game against Ecuador and the friendlies in June and September.”
“After the World Cup, I’m going to have to reevaluate a lot of things, whether it goes well or badly. Let’s hope it’s in the best of ways. But a lot of things will definitely change after the World Cup.”
