Brock Lesnar has one of the most luxurious schedules of any WWE Superstar on the roster. The current Universal Champion wrestles only a handful of times per year, and they are usually saved for some of WWE’s biggest events. Naturally, when Brock Lesnar makes a rare appearance at a WWE live event, it usually comes as a surprise. Brock recently appeared at a live event in Winnipeg, Canada and defeated Sheamus to retain his title. Brock Lesnar is believed to be taking time off from appearing on television once again. Though is he rumored to appear at November’s Survivor Series pay-per-view, he is not being advertised for the event as of yet.
Glenn Jacobs dominated WWE television for over a decade as the sinister Kane character, but he put his wrestling career on hold last year when he announced that he would be running for Mayor of Knox County, Tennessee. He last appeared at a WWE live event in December of last year where he teamed with American Alpha to defeat The Wyatt Family. As far as a in-ring return, Dave Meltzer noted in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that WWE is not sure what they will be doing as far as Kane’s in-ring future. The belief is that Kane will remain employed by WWE (but not used) at least until his Mayoral campaign concludes in 2018.
One of the breakout tag teams of the year has been Fandango and Tyler Breeze’s Breezango group. The two have impressed audiences with their “Fashion Files” skits on Smackdown each week, and the likes of John Cena and Nikki Bella are even said to be behind them. While speaking to DualShockers, the team teased that they will be going after the Smackdown Tag Team Championships after The New Day and The Usos face off at Hell in a Cell. The two teams have battled each other in numerous matches, and their next match is being advertised as the final match between the teams. With the Hype Bros. splitting up soon, and with the Usos and New Day moving on, it seems that Breezango may finally get another chance to shine.
