Karti Chidambaram, the son of former Finance Minister and Congress leader P Chidambaram, has been arrested in Chennai by the CBI in connection with a money laundering case, for not cooperating in the probe.
Karti was arrested at the Chennai Airport on his arrival from London.

He is accused of taking Rs 10 lakh bribe from INX Media, then owned by Peter Mukerjea and his wife Indurani to use his influence to manipulate a tax probe against the company in a case of violation of Foreign Investment Promotion Board (FIPB) conditions to receive investment from Mauritius.
