Drake Maverick “Buries The Hatchet” With Matt Hardy’s Son King Maxel

WONDERFUL! The age old rivalry between Drake Maverick and King Maxel has finally come to an end, and we are told that the heir to the House Hardy fortune is simply DELIGHTED by this new, tremendous paradigm shift.

For those unfamiliar, the beef between the two goes all the way back to the famous (or perhaps, infamous) Broken Hardy saga on Impact Wrestling, back when the 205 Live General Manager was working under the name “Rockstar Spud”.

We’ll spare you the details of all the Broken shenanigans, but the end result was Maxel making his “in-ring debut” at a staged indie event taped for Impact Wrestling, where Spud was incapacitated with a taser by Senior Benjamin. This allowed the young child, who could barely walk at the time, to pin Spud and score his first ever victory.

It looks like the Hardy family was present at Mr. Maverick’s wedding this Thursday, as he tweeted out a photo of the two with the caption reading, “Buried the hatchet. He’s promised not to pin me.”

Of course, Maverick was finally able to get his hands on the WWE 24/7 Championship this past Tuesday night on Smackdown Live, so it’s totally possible they shot some footage at the wedding, which has been mentioned multiple times on WWE television over the past few weeks.

Buried the hatchet.
