After the first two picks in the first round of the NFL Draft on April 29, everything else will be a free for all.
Here I try to predict a chaotic Round 1 — with five quarterbacks going in the Top 10 — as we prep for the real thing on Thursday.
If Lawrence isn’t the pick, the NFL world will be set on fire.
From Utah to New York, let’s roll Zachary.
I wouldn’t do this but all reports say Mac is the pick. Selecting Jones over Fields is a head scratcher. Maybe Kyle Shanahan isn’t the genius NFL media has touted him out to be.
With reports of the Falcons taking calls on Julio Jones, it seems a rebuild is imminent. Get the QB of the future in Justin Fields.
Joe Burrow wants former LSU teammate Ja’Marr Chase, but Sewell will prevent Burrow from being on the IR, which is more important than playing with a former teammate.
Pitts is a man bear (half man, half bear) and is arguably the best overall prospect in the draft. He is a can’t miss and has future All-Pro written all over him. This gives Tua Tagovailoa a new weapon and a completely revamped receiving core of Devante Parker, Will Fuller, Pitts and Gesicki.
QB Jared Goff gets a new weapon in the best receiver prospect in years. Chase and Goff should make magic in Detroit.
The Panthers get Sam Darnold some more protection so he can sling it to his new weapons in DJ Moore, Robby Anderson and Christian McCaffrey.
Move over Drew Lock, Lance is the future for the Broncos. His upside is too much to pass up in a division that features Justin Herbert, Derek Carr and Patrick Mahomes for the hope that Lock becomes great.
Some scouts view Surtain as the cleanest cornerback in the draft. The Cowboys get a stud to help their defense, which was bad last year.
The Giants land the 2020 Heisman winner who has zero holes in his game. His route running is elite, he’s got strong hands and can fly. Only questions revolve around his size at 6-0, 170 pounds.
Waddle is arguably the fastest receiver in the draft and some believe he has more upside than his teammate Smith due to his blazing speed. Jalen Hurts gets a dynamic weapon to help his development.
Adding Darrisaw will improve a unit that was one of the worst offensive lines in the NFL in 2020. With the additions of Corey Linsley and Darrisaw, Justin Herbert should be even better.
The former USC tackle is versatile and can play both tackle and guard. He would be an instant upgrade at left guard over Mason Cole.
Toney is electric with the ball in his hands and will be a great weapon for Cam Newton to throw to.
When the Cardinals released Patrick Peterson in the offseason, it made them deficient at cornerback. Their returning corners are Byron Murphy, Malcolm Butler and Robert Alford. Horn immediately improves that group.
Some view Parsons as the best defensive player in the draft and he will help improve a Raiders defense that was putrid last year.
After releasing Kyle Van Noy the Dolphins will be able to fill his spot with Ojulari.
Owusu-Koramoah adds to an already loaded defense.

The Bears need to provide Andy Dalton with as many weapons as possible.
Collins could be the best defensive player in the draft. He’s a playmaker that has great instincts and should be a difference maker in the NFL.
The Titans released both of their starting cornerbacks from 2020. Newsome has everything you want in a corner and can contribute right away.
The Jets draft should focus around Wilson. Drafting Jenkins protects Wilson. He is a mauler and will improve the offensive line.
Harris has zero holes in his game. His vision, quickness, power and hands are elite. He adds a much needed boost to the Steelers run game that lost James Conner in free agency.
The Jags’ defense was bad against the run in 2020. The selection of Barmore will improve that flaw in their defense.
Davis is an excellent athlete that can improve the Browns linebacker unit.
The Ravens receiving core needs improvement. Lamar Jackson doesn’t have enough weapons outside of Mark Andrews and Marquise Brown. Marshall will improve the passing game and allow Jackson to take another step in his development.
Paye will help replace Trey Hendrickson who had 13.5 sacks last year but left in free agency.
The Packers fill a need with Dickerson after losing their pro bowl center during the offseason.
If the Bills want to surpass Kansas City they need to improve their pass rush, which was 15th in the league with 38 sacks. Phillips is an excellent option even though he has had some medical concerns.
After trading Orlando Brown, the Ravens can fill his role with Eichenberg.
The Buccaneers’ pass rush harassed Mahomes in the Super Bowl and is the main reason they won. Adding more firepower never hurts.
