Army Unearths And Disposes 555 Bombs Bought As Scrap From Iraq 14 Years Ago

A bomb disposal team of the Indian Army has successfully extracted and disposedof 555 unexploded bombs that were buried underground for the past 14 years in Uttrakhand’s Udham Singh Nagar. The bombs were buried on the banks of Feeka river, near Hajiro village in the district roughly 14 years back.

The exercise of disposing of the bombs began on October 12 and by October 21, all 555 bombs were unearthed and disposed of.
