This Sunday, Alejandro joint Sarmiento training and this Monday the coaching team will decide if he is already ready to join the team that will travel to Mar del Plata first to play against Buenos Aires Unidos and then, Drean Bolívar on the second weekend of the League.
The news that the whole team was waiting came real. After long negotiations with Sarmiento Santana Textiles, one of the new franchises of the ACLAV Argentine A1 Men Teams League, the experienced player became part of the team. Chaco project interested him over salary conditions, inclusive the fact that his coach will be his former playing mate at the Argentine Men Team, Jorge Elgueta.
The middle player worked prior to the season with Sarmiento players and therefore he knows his playing mates. He travelled to join Lokomotiv Belgrod but after a month in Russia he decided to return to Argentina and join the best competition for men teams of the country.
He received several offers but on Saturday evening he decided to be part of Sarmiento team. The team returned to training on Sunday after the match vs. La Unión de Formosa and he was part of the group. The team will work double shift on Monday and on Travel at noon they will travel towards Mar del Plata resort city arriving on Wednesday noon time. On Thursday, they will face Buenos Aires Unidos after training Wednesday evening.
Elgueta made a balance of the first match, where his team lost by tie breaker. “We played well against a team that just one week before faced the Final match of the ACLAV Cup. On the return match we will be much better because we will have many games on our back”. “We have now two very hard matches and we must try to return home with as many possible points won, a very hard task”. “We travel to Mar del Plata by bus, not in airplane and the trip is very long but so is our reality and we have to face it”. “We will take 13 players on this second weekend, I do not know if Spajic is ready but it is useless to have him sitting behind in Resistencia, it is better to have him working with us”.
