As shocking as it may sound, it has emerged that the family of India’s former President late Fakhruddin Ali Ahmed’s brother have been left out from the draft National Register of Citizens (NRC) which was published on Monday.
According to a News 18 report, Ziauddin, the son of Fakhruddin’s brother Ekramuddin Ali Ahmed is among the nearly 40 lakhs whose names have not been featured in the final draft.
The family has been living in Rangia, in Kamrup district of Assam.
