Chelsea boss Frank Lampard got the better of former Blues team-mate and Aston Villa assistant boss John Terry with a 2-1 triumph at Stamford Bridge.
The returning Tammy Abraham opened the scoring but Villa forward Trezeguet levelled things up.
Mason Mount’s fierce effort secured the victory for Chelsea though, who had lost their two previous matches.
