Arsenal striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang being ‘closely followed’ by Inter Milan as Antonio Conte eyes January move

Speculation has been rife about the Gabonese striker’s future at the Emirates, with the club without a manager and seven points off the top four having failed to record a single win in their last eight outings.

The 30-year-old, who equalised twice in Arsenal’s 2-2 draw at Norwich on Sunday, has been linked to Spanish giants Barcelona and Real Madrid .

Aubameyang, who has netted 10 goals in league matches this season, shared the golden boot award with Liverpool pair Sadio Mane and Mo Salah last season.

Antonio Conte is now considering a mid-season swoop for the forward, according to Italian outlet Tuttomercatoweb.

The Italian tactician is said to be preparing for the possibility of losing in-form striker Lautaro Martinez to Barcelona.

The Serie A pace-setters have not yet made any moves towards securing Aubameyang, according to French publication Le10Sport , but San Siro chiefs are said to have ‘closely followed’ the forward’s situation over the summer.
