Liverpool’s awful record against Cardiff City will give Manchester City fans hope for Premier League title race

Jurgen Klopp’s men are currently top of the Premier League and into the Champions League semi-finals.

After comfortably dispatching Chelsea at home on Sunday, the Reds are potentially four games away from lifting their first league title since 1990.

Next up for the Merseysiders is a trip to relegation-threatened Cardiff City – a fixture the league table would suggest is a formality for the visitors.

But history tells a different story.

In 33 games against the Bluebirds since 1922, Liverpool have won just 13 games – a measly 39%.
