Marseille Sporting Director Andoni Zubizarreta has met with the agents of Angers striker and Ivory Coast international Nicolas Pépé, according to L’Équipe.
The player had been heavily pursued by Lyon before Aulas opted to spend big to sign Memphis Depay from Manchester United instead.
However, two other Ligue 1 clubs are hot on the player’s heels: Marseille and Lille. No offer has been made by OM, despite a meeting between Zubizarretta and the player’s representatives.
In any case, Angers will not sell the player for less than €10m.
