Dana White Confirms CM Punk’s Next UFC Opponent, Teases Possible Brock Lesnar Return Opponent

The rumors of a CM Punk UFC return are indeed true, as TMZ recently caught up with UFC President Dana White, and during the brief interview, which you can watch below, White confirms Punk, real name Phil Brooks, will be returning to The Octagon.

Furthermore, White confirmed Punk will be facing Mike Jackson, who also lost his debut UFC fight to Punk’s first fight opponent Mickey Gall, and the target fight date for Punk vs Jackson is UFC 255 in Chicago. The event takes place on June 9th, and will mark UFC’s debut at The United Center. The card will be headlined by Robert Whittaker vs Yoel Romero.

White has been on a roll lately with fight related news, as we noted last night that he revealed Brock Lesnar will be returning to UFC, although said he did not know when the return will happen.

During the interview below revealing the Punk news, White also teased Lesnar’s return opponent, claiming it could hinge on who wins the Stipe Miocic vs. Daniel Cormier fight.
