In a horrific incident in Kolkata, a man killed his newborn baby just because of people shaming him! A 47-year-old daily wage earner and his wife killed their own child, and have been arrested for it.
Dilip Chakraborty and his wife Suniti, 42, who are residents of Cooch Behar district, in West Bengal’s Jalpaiguri district, were taken into custody on Monday night after local residents told the police that the baby was killed by them. They did this after being ridiculed by neighbours for being older parents. They were produced in a court in Jalpaiguri on Tuesday, which sent them to three days of police custody.
