Two Huge Matches Being Advertised for 2018 WWE Hell in a Cell PPV

According to ABC KSAT 12 out of San Antonio, AJ Styles vs Samoa Joe for the WWE Title and Roman Reigns vs Kevin Owens is being advertised for the September 16th WWE Hell in a Cell PPV taking place at the AT&T Center in San Antonio, Texas.

Below is the official ABC KSAT 12 announcement:

SAN ANTONIO – One of the biggest events in World Wrestling Entertainment is headed to San Antonio.

WWE’s ‘Hell In A Cell’ will be held Sept. 16 at the AT&T Center.

Wrestlers compete inside a 20-foot-high roofed cage that surrounds the ring and ringside area.

Fans will get to see Roman Reigns take on Kevin Owens, and WWE Champion AJ Styles versus Samoa Joe for the WWE Championship.

WWE Hell in a Cell takes place after WWE SummerSlam in August, so if the above matches do indeed take place at the annual Cell-themed event, it means Styles will be carrying the WWE Title through and after SummerSlam. It should be noted, however, that all WWE cards are subject to change.

As noted, tickets for WWE Hell in a Cell go on sale this Friday at 10 a.m.

Brooklyn Brawler Recalls Facing Shawn Michaels For The WWF Championship, Scott Dawson Remembers An Old Match

WWE Legend, Brooklyn Brawler was recently a guest on Sean Mooney’s “Prime Time” podcast where he discussed his career in detail. Below is a highlight from the interview where he spoke about facing Shawn Michaels with a H/T to Rajah.com for the transcription.

“His finish is the Superkick if I Superkicked him people would come unglued,” Brooklyn Brawler said. “What a match we had. It was the first Garden show with DX with Chyna and Triple H on the apron on the outside of the ring. Me and Shawn Michaels in Madison Square Garden.”

“I remember The Undertaker walking into the room, into the dressing room and looking at the line-up and it shows me in the main event, he’s underneath me and he goes, ‘what the f–k is this?’ That’s what he said. I just said, ‘it’s not me I didn’t do it!’ Because nobody wants heat with The Undertaker. But I tell ya, my career, you couldn’t even write this the way it happened.”

Brawler continued, “He’s kicking out at two-and-a-half and he’s selling and doing all these crazy moves. I mean he made me look like a million bucks. I’m telling ya and then Triple H jumps on the apron and I pop him, nail him then Chyna comes in and gives me a Frankensteiner. I mean, it was great.”

Scott Dawson Recalls Old Favorite

A wrestling fan tweeted about an old NXT television match between The Revival and American Alpha and Scott Dawson commented on it, admitting it is one of his favorites, even though it isn’t that well remembered.

Mariés au premier regard : Marlène déçue, ses formes trop mises en avant

Marlène est-elle très complexée par ses formes comme le laissent entendre les épisodes de Mariés au premier regard 3 ? Dès le début de son aventure, on la découvre en train d’expliquer qu’un ancien petit ami l’a humiliée en la quittant à cause de ses formes. L’assistante maternelle de 30 ans explique donc qu’elle craint que son futur mari n’aime pas son corps. S’est alors ensuivie une séquence au cours de laquelle elle essaie des robes de mariée qui ne lui vont pas. Des images qui avaient choqué les téléspectateurs et auxquelles la production a réagi. Interrogée sur le montage de l’émission à l’occasion d’un questions/réponses sur Instagram, lundi 25 février, Marlène a admis que le montage n’était pas “le reflet exact de l’aventure que [Kevin et elle] ont vécue“.

“J’aurais aimé qu’ils se focalisent moins sur le côté ‘ronde’ pour mettre en valeur mes passions“, a-t-elle précisé. La belle brune a ensuite assuré qu’elle n’avait jamais demandé à ce que son poids soit autant mis en avant dans les épisodes. Concernant la séquence des robes de mariée, Marlène a écrit : “Ce moment n’a pas été facile à vivre, ni à revoir à la télé. Heureusement que je peux compter sur le soutien inconditionnel de ma maman.” Pour finir, la candidate a assuré ne pas être aussi complexée que le sous-entendent les épisodes : “Bien sûr, j’ai des complexes comme la plupart des femmes. Mais je vis très bien avec mes rondeurs. J’espère que, malgré les montages, vous avez su le voir dans ma façon de m’habiller.“

Je n’ai pas trouvé ça cool pour Marlène

Interrogé par Télé Loisirs, son mari Kevin s’est également confié sur le sujet. Il a aussi regretté que les formes de Marlène soient autant mises en avant : “Je n’ai pas trouvé ça cool pour elle. Je ne sais pas si c’est bien que ça ait été accentué de la sorte, mais ça m’a dérangé, clairement.“

Pour rappel, Marlène a accordé une interview à Purepeople. Et elle avait déjà évoqué le fait qu’elle n’était pas vraiment complexée par ses formes. Elle craignait surtout que Kevin ne les aiment pas : “En fait, avant de faire le casting, j’ai eu une relation avec un homme auquel j’étais très attachée. Il avait l’habitude de sortir avec des filles très minces. Et il avait peur d’être bloqué à cause de mes formes. Mais j’ai 30 ans, je m’assume. Je ne suis pas complexée par mes formes. C’est vrai que de rencontrer cette personne-là, avec qui j’étais, qui me dit ça, du coup, j’ai appréhendé mon histoire avec Kevin. Je ne l’avais jamais vu, donc j’avais peur qu’on me mette avec quelqu’un qui n’apprécierait pas les formes, comme mon ex.“

Collider has released the above video, featuring director Jake Kasdan discussing plans for the next “Jumanji” movie, starring The Rock, and opening in December 2019.

Director Jake Kasdan had a very good 2017 with the surprise hit Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, and he swung by the 2018 Saturn Awards where the film was nominated for Best Fantasy Film. However, before the ceremony we caught up with the performer on the red carpet. These kinds of interviews at the Saturn Awards don’t allow for a ton of time with the person being interviewed, so when it was Collider’s own Steve Weintraub’s chance to speak briefly with Kasdan on the red carpet, he led off by asking where in the development process they were on Jumanji 3, which has been dated for December 13, 2019.

Finn Balor vs Baron Corbin Officially Set for WWE SummerSlam; Updated PPV Card Feat. 10 Matches, MITB Defense & More

WWE has officially announced that Finn Balor will go one-on-one with Baron Corbin in less than two weeks at WWE SummerSlam. The Balor Club leader got the upper hand on his rival tonight on Raw, nailing the Constable with a diving double foot stomp just moments after Corbin suffered a difficult loss to Roman Reigns.

WWE SummerSlam takes place at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY on Sunday, August 19th. Here’s the match card so far:

Le 14 juillet 2018, Tiffany et Justin, deux ex-candidats de l’émission Mariés au premier regard (M6) ont accueilli leur premier enfant, une petite fille qu’ils ont prénommée Romy. Sept mois plus tard, la pétillante brune a choisi de rendre hommage à sa fille en se faisant faire deux tatouages.

Mardi 26 février, la jeune femme qui avait d’abord épousé Thomas dans l’émission a publié en Story Instagram les coulisses de cet événement mais surtout le résultat. Comme on peut le voir, elle s’est fait inscrire le prénom de sa fille sur son poignet en italique et a fait faire au-dessus de son coude, une autre inscription correspondant au jour, mois, année de naissance et heure de naissance de son enfant.

Horner: Perez ‘delivering the role’ hoped by Red Bull

Christian Horner says that Sergio Perez has delivered on Red Bull’s overall expectations this season, hinting that the Mexican will likely remain with the Milton Keynes-based outfit in 2022.

Perez found himself a free agent on the drivers’ market at the end of 2020 following Racing Point/Aston Martin’s decision to replace him with Sebastian Vettel.

But Alex Albon’s inability to convince Red Bull to keep him onboard for 2021 led to Perez’s recruitment by the team.

Although the 31-year-old struggled for consistency alongside Max Verstappen in the first part of the season, a 104-point track record that includes a win in Baku has been deemed as satisfactory by Horner.

“I think Sergio has delivered the role that we’ve been hoping for,” said the Red Bull racing team boss.

“You saw that in Baku when he picked up a victory on the day that he was able to put Lewis under pressure

“He’s been collecting those constructors’ points, and playing the team game, as we saw at the French GP. He’s a great team player and we’re very happy with the job he’s doing.”

Historically, Red Bull has almost always picked its drivers from within its junior program. In hindsight, and considering Pierre Gasly’s strong performance at AlphaTauri, Horner says Red Bull’s hiring of Perez was a “brave” decision, but the right choice.

“Our view has always been to give youth the chance and I think Red Bull, more than any other team, has done that,” said the Briton. “But occasionally, you need to step out of the programme.

“I think it was a brave decision to do that, but I think it was the right decision. The dynamic in the team is working well.

“Pierre is doing a fantastic job at AlphaTauri, and is still very much a Red Bull racing driver, so we’re in a good place.”

The Rock’s “Skyscraper” Movie Under Performs, Kurt Angle Throws First Pitch, Mike Kanellis On Being Dangerous

The Rock’s brand new movie, “Skyscraper” has been released this week, but it has underperformed during its opening weekend at the box office.

The film will debut third for the weekend behind both Hotel Transylvania 3 and Marvel’s Ant-Man and The Wasp. Skyscraper was originally expected to make around $40 million in its first week, but is expected to only make around $25 million.

The expected budget of the movie was $125 million and therefore the film will need to do very well internationally in order to turn a profit.
