ROH Issues Statement Regarding Investigation Into Taeler Hendrix's Sexual Accusations

As noted, Taeler Hendrix recently made some heavy accusations regarding her time in Ring Of Honor.

According to Hendrix, her run with ROH was sabotaged after she turned down sexual requests from at-the-time (and once again as of this writing, reigning) ROH World Champion Jay Lethal.

ROH issued the following statement to PWTorch.com regarding their investigation into the matter:

The Riott Squad are taking their camaraderie seriously since joining the WWE main roster.

While in Australia this weekend for their big featured six-woman tag-team match at Saturday morning’s WWE Super Show-Down 2018 special event, the trio visited a tattoo shop and decided to permanently cement a specific date that is meaningful to all three ladies on their bodies.

The next week they made their actual in-ring debuts, unveiling their new “Riott Squad” group name and defeating veterans Charlotte, Natalya and Naomi in six-woman tag-team action.

The Riott Squad, with Liv Morgan included now that she is 100-percent medically cleared to return to the ring, are scheduled to face RAW Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey and The Bella Twins in six-woman tag-team action at Saturday morning’s WWE Super Show-Down 2018 pay-per-view / WWE Network live special at the Melbourne Cricket Ground in Melbourne, Australia.

Rich Swann Reveals Key Reason Why Impact Wrestling Is On The Rise

Former WWE Cruiserweight Champion Rich Swann, who as noted, recently signed a long-term contract with Impact Wrestling, recently appeared as a guest on Sean Waltman’s X-Pac 12360 Podcast for an in-depth interview. Featured below are some of the highlights.

On why Impact Wrestling is on the rise: “The roster is amazing. Wherever I land on Impact, I am happy with because I’m just trying to have great matches and I am happy I am with Impact. The company is growing, it’s on national TV. The guys are wrestling everywhere it doesn’t matter if it’s Ring of Honor or New Japan. Slammiversary had a sprinkle of everything and it culminated and made it like, ‘Boom! This is Impact!’. The production value is amazing, how they present stuff, [the] promos and packages are unique. I think that catches people eye. I think another thing that has Impact on an upward is just the wrestling. The wrestling right now is hotter than ever.”

On the passing of Leon “Vader” White: “Everybody was sad. I know I thought he was dope, I got to meet him a couple times [and] he was nice to me. Of course, I didn’t really know him personally like that you know but as a performer, and as a guy. I met him a couple times it was really nice, it’s a loss. I know I watched a couple of Vader matches, Vader moonsault highlights. He is definitely going to be missed.”

On his wife Su Yung’s Impact Wrestling character: “It’s chilling because that’s somebody that I see every day. But to see her transform and her character and especially how they [Impact] push behind it. The product and how they shoot it. And like how she just makes it her own, you know what I’m saying? It’s definitely like Muta-esque but she turned it into her own. For example, one of the dopest clips that they’ve done for her, when they had all the bridesmaids around the casket that they put Rosemary in and she’s got the Impact Knockouts Championship and she’s posing like she’s about to do the mist but it comes out as fire and burns the coffin. That was insane. The production value of that was nuts, it was awesome. That’s just another thing you know what I’m saying to show that Impact is on the rise. She definitely works that character.”

Sam Adonis Banned From Indy Promotion After Offensive Promo

Sam Adonis successfully got himself banned from an independent wrestling promotion.

After appearing at the Revolution Pro show over the weekend and executing a run-in during a match between Chris Rideway and Kurtis Chapman, Adonis took to the microphone to cut a promo that would offend many in attendance.

Adonis used a homophobic slur that drew “go-away” / “disgusting” heat from the crowd. He ended up taking things even further, leading to his being banned from the company.

After the show, the promotion issued the following statement on their official Twitter page addressing Adonis’ controversial remarks during his promo.

Feeling the pressure himself, Adonis also took to social media to apologize for his actions and comments at the Revolution Pro event this past Sunday.
