Henry is also the Gunners’ record goalscorer with a staggering 228 strikes for the club.

However, all these achievements are not enough in the eyes of one football fan on Twitter, who tweeted a stunning thread exposing Henry as a ‘bottler’.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer prepared to make Paul Pogba Manchester United captain in attempt to keep him at Old Trafford – reports

ESPN claim Pogba is one of the leading candidates to land the captaincy, with the position vacant following the news that Antonio Valencia will leave this summer after the club chose not to trigger a one-year extension on his contract.

Ashley Young, who signed a new one-year deal back in February, is in line to take over from Valencia as club captain, but with the 33-year-old set for a reduced role in the playing squad, the on-pitch captain position is up for grabs.

And Solskjaer is reportedly prepared to hand 26-year-old Pogba, who was stripped of captaincy duties during Jose Mourinho’s tenure, more responsibility to end speculation over his future.

Pogba, 26, is open to a move away from Old Trafford with United missing out on a place in next year’s Champions League having finished sixth in the Premier League.

Real Madrid are leading the race for his signature, but ESPN further claim that United sources have notified them that the World Cup winner, who has a contract until 2022, will not be sold this summer.

Leeds United owner Andrea Radrizzani claims Derby County selling their Pride Park Stadium to a sister company is worse than ‘Spygate’

Derby sold their Pride Park Stadium to owner Mel Morris for £80million in April 2019, before leasing the stadium back.

There is some bad blood between Leeds and Derby following the ‘Spygate’ scandal where Whites head coach Marcelo Bielsa admitted to instructing a scout to watch Frank Lampard’s Derby side train before a Championship clash in January.

Leeds won the game 2-0 but Derby ended up having the last laugh as they came out on top in the play-off semi-finals earlier this month, winning 4-3 on aggregate.

Some Derby players even celebrated using pretend binoculars, mimicking a spying gesture.

However, the war of words have continued with Radrizzani seemingly taking the opportunity to have a dig at Derby when speaking at the Financial Times’ Business of Football Summit on Tuesday.

According to respected journalist Raphael Honigstein, who was at the event, claimed Radrizzani said: “Selling your stadium to a sister company is more cheating than sending a scout to see (Derby’s) training.”

Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain are ‘playthings of a state’ and should be kicked out Europe, says LaLiga president

Tebas, who has been in charge of the Spanish league for six years, hit out at both clubs for ‘inflating the market’ when it comes to signing players.

City are currently being investigated by UEFA for alleged FFP breaches while PSG have faced similar allegations in the past.

Pep Guardiola’s side claimed a domestic treble this season while the Ligue 1 club won their sixth league title in seven seasons.

“It forces other clubs into an economic situation which is really living on the edge. It skews the balance of the entire European football structure.

Liverpool transfer news: Matthijs de Ligt no longer a summer target for Reds as Barcelona lead the race

De Ligt is one of Europe’s most coveted players, having starred for the Dutch giants in their run to the Champions League semi-final.

Barcelona have been long time admirers of the £60m-rated defender, and appeared to be in a straight tussle for the 19-year-old with Jurgen Klopp’s men.

However, the Mail claim the Reds, like Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain, have ended their interest in De Ligt.

While City and PSG cited costs as their reason for retracting their interest in the Ajax man, Liverpool have reportedly decided to prioritise their transfer business elsewhere.

They will turn their focus towards a new forward who can play across the front three, as well as finding cover at left-back and in goal – should Simon Mignolet move on.

Barcelona have already signed De Ligt’s team-mate, Frenkie De Jong, with reports in Spain suggesting the LaLiga leaders will return for a second swoop.

Graham Potter: Brighton confirm appointment of head coach from Swansea on four-year deal

Potter leaves Swansea after just a single season to take up his new post in the top flight, signing a four-year deal with the Seagulls.

He had two years remaining on his deal at the Liberty Stadium and Swansea offered him fresh terms in a bid to ward off Brighton’s interest.

However, after the Championship side initially rejected Brighton’s approach, former Ostersund boss Potter has made the move to the south coast.

Potter said: “I was sold by the long-term vision and passion shown by Tony Bloom, Paul Barber and Dan Ashworth.

“The ideas and plans they have for the future of this football club excited me; I am thrilled and honoured to be a part of it.

“This club has been on an incredible journey and my aim along with Bjorn [Hamberg], Kyle [Macauley] and Billy [Reid], is to ensure the great work that has gone before us is built on, as we strive to cement our place in the Premier League for many years to come.”

Appointed last summer, Potter guided the Swans to a 10th-place finish in the Championship last season.
