Arsenal news: Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette set to be offered ‘huge new deals’

The two star strikers have carried the Gunners to a large extent this season, scoring almost half of the club’s Premier League goals between them.

And according to the Daily Mail, the pair are set to be rewarded with offers for new contracts worth £250,000-a-week.

Their future at the Emirates may depend on whether or not Arsenal qualify for next season’s Champions League.

Lacazette and Aubameyang grabbed all seven goals during the Gunners’ 7-3 aggregate victory over Valencia in their Europa League semi-final to set up a showdown with Chelsea in Baku.

Rangers vs Celtic line-ups: Confirmed team news for Old Firm derby at Ibrox

The Hoops already have the Scottish Premiership title wrapped up under interim manager Neil Lennon, who ensured the Parkhead club made it eight in a row despite Brendan Rodgers’ mid-season exit.

Rangers are guaranteed to finish runners-up to their fierce local rivals, securing their highest placing since 2011/12 in Steven Gerrard’s debut season as manager.

Gers are not going to give Celtic a guard of honour before kick-off on Sunday, despite such a tribute being tradition for title-winning sides.

Celtic won when the two teams met at Parkhead in March, with Rangers having two men sent off and James Forrest netting the winning strike just four minutes from time. Ryan Kent was also given a retrospective ban for lashing out at Hoops skipper Scott Brown.

So there may be little to play for except bragging rights this afternoon, but still expect plenty of drama and entertainment at Ibrox.

But who has been selected to play? The confirmed Rangers vs Celtic teams are below…

Leeds United fans mock Frank Lampard with hilarious chant after defeating Derby County in Championship Play-Off first leg

Kemar Roofe’s second-half strike sealed an impressive 1-0 triumph for visitors Leeds in the first leg of their semi-final on Saturday.

Roofe collected a fine cross from winger Jack Harrison and tucked the ball expertly past Derby goalkeeper Kelle Roos after 54 minutes.

It was Roofe’s 15th goal of the season – and the fourth time he has netted against Derby this term – and puts Marcelo Bielsa’s side in pole position to book a Wembley date with the winner of Aston Villa vs West Brom.

The two sides have developed a bit of history over the course of this season over ‘Spygate’ – which stemmed from Rams boss Lampard complaining after Marceloa Bielsa sent a member of his coaching staff to watch them train.

Since then, Whites supporters have been quick to tease the former England international at any possible opportunity.

Premier League title race: Will the real trophy be at Liverpool vs Wolves or Brighton vs Man City? Do the runners up get medals?

City will win their second successive top-flight crown if they beat Brighton on the south coast today.

Anything other than a win of Pep Guardiola’s side could see Liverpool leapfrog them into the top spot – if they can see off Wolves at Anfield.

The Reds are looking to claim their first Premier League trophy but even if they can pull off another miracle this season, they won’t actually get their hands on the real cup.

Here’s why…

The Liverpool and Manchester City players set to miss out on a Premier League winners’ medal

Click:korean novel

City have the slight advantage in the race as they lead the Reds by a single point heading into the final game.

Pep Guardiola’s side face Brighton at the Amex Stadium and can finish on 98 points if they win.

At Anfield, Jurgen Klopp’s side will take on Wolves and could end up on 97 points and still not win the title.

That tally would have been enough to win the title in any other season apart from City’s record-breaking campaign last year when they hit the 100-point mark.

One team will get to lift the trophy on Sunday and receive their Premier League medals.

Some of the fringe players, and those who have been injured, will not get a winners’ medal, though, as there are strict rules for who can get one.

Players need to have made a minimum of five appearances to get one.

The rules were changed for the 2012/13 season with 10 games needed for a medal to be handed out.

The Premier League board can award additional medals to players who have made fewer than five games but it is at their discretion and is usually reserved for back-up goalkeepers and injured players.

There are a few players who may miss out on a medal if their team wins the title.

For Liverpool, the most notable names are Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Alberto Moreno.

Oxlade-Chamberlain has been restricted to just one substitute appearance since returning from a serious knee injury.

Moreno has deputised for Andy Robertson on two occasions in the league this season with the last of those coming against Burnley in December.

The other players to have made appearances for the club and who will not get a medal is youngster Rafael Camacho, who made just one substitute appearance, and full-back Nathaniel Clyne, who made four appearances before leaving for Bournemouth on loan.

The only player for Manchester City who has been in and around their first team this season and not made up the number of games is goalkeeper Arijanet Muric.

He is likely to get a medal for being the back-up goalkeeper, though.

City have used 21 players in the league this season and all have played more than five games.

Many expect City to beat Brighton and ensure their second piece of silverware this season, but what must happen for Liverpool to win the Premier League?

Manchester City players to land huge £20million bonus if they win the domestic treble

Pep Guardiola’s men travel to the south coast to face Brighton on Sunday where they could seal back-to-back title wins with a victory.

And according to The Sun, winning the title will see their bonus earnings soar to almost £15m – on top of their added earnings from their Carabao Cup triumph earlier this term.

City stars will bank a further payout if they win the FA Cup against Watford next weekend and the cash bonuses reflect a 25 per cent hike on what they pocketed after winning the title last season.

No club has retained the league since Sir Alex Ferguson led Manchester United to back-to-back crowns in 2008 and 2009.

Tottenham Hotspur team news: Predicted Spurs XI to face Everton in their final Premier League game

Back at their new home, Spurs know they still aren’t assured of their top four spot as they host the Toffees.

Not only that, they could lose out to Arsenal if results go against them on Sunday afternoon.

A defeat for Mauricio Pochettino’s men and a victory for the Gunners, with an eight-goal swing would see Tottenham slip to fifth an fail to qualify for the competition which they have just reached the final of.
