WWE SmackDown ratings for WrestleMania 36 go-home show

Overnight ratings are in for last night’s SmackDown on FOX, WWE’s last television show before WrestleMania 36, which starts airing later today and continues tomorrow.

The episode averaged 2.374 million viewers, the same overnight number as last week. The opening hour did 2.407 million viewers, with the show then falling 2.7 percent in hour two to 2.342 million.

SmackDown was, by far, the lowest viewed show on the major networks, with ABC’s 20/20 being the closest with an average of 3.34 million.

In the demos, SmackDown averaged a 0.6 in 18-49, down 14.3 percent from last week. It’s the lowest number the show has done in that demo since debuting on FOX and it tied several other shows for the lowest on network TV last night. When SmackDown debuted on FOX, it was routinely winning in that demo.

In 18-34, SmackDown averaged a 0.4 rating, identical to last week and also matching the series low. It tied a few other shows behind Hawaii 5-0 and Shark Tank for third on network TV in that category.

Here’s a look at the last 10 weeks of SmackDown viewership and ratings in the key demos:
