There are currently ten matches scheduled for this weekend’s WWE Extreme Rules pay-per-view, and according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, officials made the call on Wednesday not to add anything else to the card.
Extreme Rules is scheduled for four hours on Sunday evening, but obviously with the WWE Network they could go well under, or well over and aren’t obligated to anyone for time. There will be a one-hour Kickoff Show likely with one match, which leaves nine matches for the main card.
There are a few other matches that could have been added to the show, that will likely take p6lace over the next few weeks on television. Shinsuke Nakamura defeated Finn Balor in a non-title match, and is now owed a championship opportunity. The Kabuki Warriors are also next in line for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships.
