Pentagon Jr and Fenix are two wrestlers who have exploded in popularity over the past few years. The two brothers are in high demand on the independent wrestling circuit, and they also currently wrestle on three televised wrestling programs at the moment: Impact Wrestling, Lucha Underground, and MLW. The Luchadors even reportedly caught the attention of key officials in WWE and it has been said in the past that the company wanted to put the brothers on the NXT program as soon as they became free agents in early 2019. However, some recent reports have claimed that the two will likely not be going to WWE, but a definitive answer on the futures of Pentagon & Fenix has now just been provided.
The Lucha Bros are staying exactly where they are and will not be coming to WWE for the time being. According to PWInsider, Pentagon & Fenix are under contract to Lucha Underground until 2020 and are both committed to another season if the show gets picked up again. Also, both of them allegedly began negotiations for more lucrative deals with Impact Wrestling last week and are also accepting bookings with MLW, AAA, CMLL, and some North American independent wrestling promotions for much of 2019. MLW founder Court Bauer stated on Twitter earlier this week that the brothers were set for at least another year in his promotion. For right now, Pentagon and Fenix won’t be coming to WWE any time soon.
Madison Rayne has had an eventful year so far as she has just recently competed at the huge All In independent wrestling event, and she also wrestled for Impact Wrestling earlier this year, and she also took part in the Mae Young Classic tournament for WWE not too long ago as well. Rayne has just signed an exclusive deal with one wrestling promotion, but it isn’t for WWE or Impact Wrestling. Madison revealed on The Taz Show that she has signed with Ring of Honor and will now be working as a member of the Women of Honor division. Madison Rayne has wrestled for ROH on a few occasions in the past, but the former Knockouts Champion will now become part of the promotion in the very near future.
