They started the decade as Champions League regulars and there was hope among the Emirates faithful they would once again be challenging for the very highest honours.
But they have slipped out of the top four and even behind bitter north London rivals Tottenham.
At the end of the 2017/18 campaign there was a change in personnel in the Emirates dugout for the first time in 22 years as Arsene Wenger said his goodbyes and was replaced by Unai Emery.
However, Emery failed to make the impact it was hoped for and has now been sacked, with Mikel Arteta tasked with restoring Arsenal to the top table.
The last ten years, though, hasn’t been all doom and gloom for the Gunners as they have picked up three FA Cups, have endured successful Europa League campaigns and seen some of Europe’s best players don the famous red shirt.
