In yet another incident, a 21-year-old woman from Haryana who underwent sex-change surgery so that she and her lover could be together is now in a turmoil. The wife apparently wants to opt out of the marriage.

Hindustan Times reported that the woman who is now the husband has filed a police complaint that his wife’s parents have confined her into a room. He alleged that the family is not allowing the wife to meet him.
In his complaint, the husband said that the couple fell in love when they were in school. Both their families didn’t agree to the same-sex marriage.
